Animation App- iPads

Animations, and the skills needed to produce them, can provide a stimulus to learning across the curriculum (http://internet-safety-primary-education.wikispaces.com). With the 'Sock Puppets' animation app, Year Two re-created their 'Billy Goats Gruff' stories on their iPads, recording their voices to make their 'alternative' Traditional Tale come alive! This app was great for keeping the children engaged and on task; they loved sharing their animations afterwards, and the collaborative element bolstered their team work skills.
